When I was 15 years old I wanted to buy skates and learn how to skate, but I ended up buying a long board instead. Then, in 2009, when Whip It came out, I learned about roller derby and I was like, "Holy ***t, that sport is amazing!" and I thought I would be badass at it. But when I looked up teams it said you had to be 21+ to play. So I said I would wait until then to play. Well life happens, and it wasn't until I was 26 when my homie Tazz hit me up and said, "Hey, you want to come watch some roller derby with me? My girlfriend is the coach." I said, "Yesssss!!!" It was IEDD's last game of the season. That night I told Kwyet I wanted to join and I have been going to every practice since then.
