Why did you pick that name?
It seemed badass to me, plus I thought it was pretty sweet that I could use a penal code as my number.
Why did you pick that number?
It's the California Penal Code for Disorderly Conduct, I Googled it.
Favorite Derby Position?
Pivot/Blocker I like being part of the pack.
Why did you join derby?
I wanted to prove to myself that I could succeed at something athletic.
What's your goal for next year?
To increase my lap time, improve my skills and do anything my team may need of me.
What awards have you won or want to win someday?
I haven't won any yet but I would like to win one from an intra-league bout because then I know the award is coming from skaters who know my skills and would award me only if they were impressed enough. It would be such a huge honor.
What Diva or Diva's do you want to be like when you grow up?
I admire all the vets but one day I'd like to block like Tarracuda, Registered Curse, CheckHerWreckHer, and skate like Kay Pasa. They're all so fluid in their motions and I really want to have that confidence on skates.
Whats the best advise you would give to someone who wants to join derby or what was the best advises given to you?
If you're going to do, then just do it. No matter how many times you fall or feel like you can't do this... dust yourself off and don't give up. Always learn, contribute to the team and skate as much as you can!
